Friday at 11:00 AM – One-Eyed Mule & Foreign Affairs

We’re kicking off Nashville Nights Festival with something truly special in the heart of Odense. This Friday at 11:00 AM, join us at Record Pusher for an intimate in-store concert featuring Danish folk-rockers One-Eyed Mule and UK roots duo Foreign Affairs.

Both bands are bringing along their brand-new vinyl releases – and after the show, they’ll be hanging out to sign records and meet fans.

One-Eyed Mule

Denmark’s own One-Eyed Mule dropped their seventh album, “Lovesongs & New Routes”, on August 29 – a heartfelt collection circling around the power of love and the many paths and roots of life.
Songwriters Uffe Ipsen and Rasmus Dall will strip it down for an acoustic set at Record Pusher, giving the audience a taste of the new songs.

Since their 2006 debut, One-Eyed Mule has been delivering the soundtrack to Denmark’s underground folk-rock scene, with a back catalog that includes gems like “September Sigh”, “When Tomorrow Comes”, and “More Donovan than Dylan”.

Foreign Affairs

Foreign Affairs is the musical partnership of British brothers Adam and Lawrence Purnell.
They burst onto the scene in 2018 with their debut EP “The Old Fire Station”, which earned critical praise and led to a 22-day European tour supporting Grammy-nominated Larkin Poe.

In 2019 they signed their first publishing deal with Peermusic, and their songs have since gained spins on BBC Radio 2 (Dermot O’Leary, Bob Harris) and spots on multiple Spotify editorial playlists.

Their powerful live show has taken them across the UK and Europe, with appearances at Glastonbury, sold-out headline gigs in Britain, and festival stages from France to Denmark.

The press has said it best:

  • “With their new single ‘Make a Move’, Foreign Affairs deliver a summer anthem packed with slick guitars and irresistible hooks …” – Wonderland Magazine

  • “Dynamic roots songwriting … their subtle Americana has won fans nationwide with simple yet striking melodic craft.” – CLASH
