FAQ – Nashville Nights International Songwriters Festival

Events

What is a writers round?

The classic format of a songwriters round or a writers round has three or four songwriters or artists on stage. One performs a song, followed by the next writer, and the next, and so on. Each songwriter can join in with the others, add harmonies, contribute a guitar riff, or just listen.

What is a talk?

A talk can be a live conversation on stage, a masterclass, a debate or a presentation. You’ll have the chance to get close to the songwriters and artists when they talk about topics like co-writing, mental health, abuse, diversity, pitching your songs, inspiration, social media and much more.
