Kendell Marvel (USA)

With his deep baritone and no-nonsense storytelling style, Kendell Marvel comes to Odense with a raw blend of outlaw country and southern rock. He began playing in bars at the age of 10 and wrote his first major hit on his very first day in Nashville: Gary Allan’s Right Where I Need to Be. Since then, he has written songs for artists including Chris Stapleton, George Strait, and Brothers Osborne, while also releasing several critically acclaimed albums of his own—most recently Come On Sunshine (2022) in collaboration with Chris Stapleton. In addition to writing, recording, and touring, Marvel is also the man behind the popular “Kendell Marvel’s Honky Tonk Experience” shows in Nashville.
