Mikki Evans is a rising UK country singer-songwriter from Walsall in the West Midlands, known for blending modern country-pop sounds with heartfelt storytelling. Growing up in a working-class town far from the bright lights of Nashville, Mikki dreamed big from an early age—aspiring not only to one day sing on the legendary stages of Music City, but also to help cultivate a thriving country music scene right here in the UK.

Drawing inspiration from iconic artists like Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, and Carrie Underwood, Mikki developed her own voice—a unique blend of traditional country roots and contemporary pop influences. Her lyrics often reflect the emotions and experiences of everyday life, including themes of empowerment, heartbreak, resilience, and hope.

Mikki first gained national attention with her moving rendition of Jenn Bostic’s “Jealous of the Angels”. Her breakthrough came with her original track “Get Gone”, co-written with Gary Quinn and produced by Tim Prottey-Jones, which soared to #3 on the UK Country iTunes chart. She has also co-written Quinn’s #1 hit “Point of View”, cementing her reputation as not only a gifted performer but also a strong songwriter.

In 2022, she released “Rent Free”, a sassy, country-pop anthem about reclaiming your space and sanity after a breakup. The track resonated with audiences and was championed by outlets such as Absolute Country Radio and Country Line TV. Mikki followed this with “The Call”, an emotionally charged ballad inspired by the sudden loss of her sister Tammy. Co-written with Gary Quinn and produced by Luke Flear, the track showcased Mikki’s ability to channel profound grief into cathartic, universal music that touches hearts.

Mikki’s most recent single, “Cuppa Tea”, dropped in March 2025. Featuring fellow UK country artists Mikala Fredriksson, Lisa T, and Nicola Harris, the song is a cheeky, empowering anthem about self-worth and shaking off negativity. With its catchy hook and playful tone, “Cuppa Tea” marks another confident step in Mikki’s artistic evolution—blending relatability with a rebellious wink.

Her 2024 debut EP “Watch Me” and headline tour of the same name have further elevated her profile, with live performances capturing her dynamic stage presence and powerful vocal delivery. Whether performing in intimate UK venues or dreaming of the Grand Ole Opry, Mikki Evans continues to win over fans with her authenticity, emotional depth, and unwavering passion for country music.
