After several months of writing and developing music behind prison walls, NOAHLAND—consisting of Noah Nordahl and Thomas Cleve—is now embarking on a new chapter.

On July 15, 2026, Noah Nordahl was released, and for the first time, he and Thomas Cleve can finally create music together in the outside world.

NOAHLAND was born under unusual circumstances. Every Wednesday since the beginning of 2026, Noah and Thomas worked together on lyrics, ideas, and recordings inside the prison walls. Afterward, Thomas would continue the work on the outside, focusing on production, arrangements, and the musical direction.

The songs were sent back and forth as fragments, ideas, and recordings until they gradually grew into finished tracks. What began as a creative lifeline has evolved into a serious musical project.

Today, the prison is no longer the setting—but it has left an indelible mark on the music.

Noah is the voice of NOAHLAND. His lyrics revolve around guilt, hope, relationships, and the desire to build a new life. With his simple and raw guitar playing, he delivers these stories completely unfiltered.

Thomas is the drummer, producer, and the creative driving force behind the project’s musical evolution. He shapes the musical identity of the songs, creating a soundscape where Danish songwriting meets Country, Nordic melancholy, and dusty Americana.

The music balances between fragile and grandiose, thoughtful and explosive—but above all, it is rooted in honesty.

The story of NOAHLAND is not about prison. It is about two people who refused to let their circumstances define their potential. It is about a collaboration that grew under extraordinary conditions, held together by a shared belief in music. Now, the next phase begins.

For the first time, Noah and Thomas are on the same side of the wall. This means that a collaboration previously shaped by limitations, strict structures, and distance can now evolve freely.
