For Søren Okholm, a great song is where craftsmanship meets honesty. While a catchy melody might grab your attention, it’s the story and the emotion behind the lyrics that make it truly live on. That’s why his songwriting often revolves around the big themes we all encounter throughout life: love, family, friendship, loss, hope, and the choices that shape who we are.

As a professional musician, Søren has spent more than two decades on stages, in studios, and in rehearsal rooms. In recent years, songwriting has become an increasingly central focus. Through collaborations with Danish and international songwriters under the wings of the Nashville Nights Festival, he has immersed himself deeply in the musical craft and the art of storytelling.

Musically, he operates at the crossroads of pop, soul, rock, and Americana. The common thread is a desire to write songs that are both felt and remembered—songs that might not provide all the answers, but can make us feel a little less alone with the questions.

In 2025, Søren released his first solo single, Lille Stjerne. In 2026, together with the band Sounds Like Us, he released the singles High Hopes and The Rhythm In Me, with more releases on the way. Whatever the format, the goal remains the same: to create music with heart, craftsmanship, and stories worth sharing.
