If y’all are looking for something good to listen to as fall creeps in, we’ve got a solid recommendation for you: our very own Festival Director, Stefan Mørk, stopped by the podcast Vinylstakken — and it turned into two full episodes packed with stories, laughs, and a whole lot of great music from artists who’ve played, or are about to play, the Nashville Nights stage.
The conversation centers right where it should — on this year’s lineup. And there’s plenty to celebrate: Nashville Nights has once again landed powerhouse songwriter Lee Thomas Miller on the bill. Lee’s been a returning favorite for several years now, and he’s not just a phenomenal artist in his own right — he’s also the one opening doors for other big names, like Brett Tyler, who’s joining the lineup this year too.
Stefan walks listeners through highlights from years past and shares plenty of heartfelt recommendations on who to watch out for at this year’s festival — all wrapped around a great mix of songs from artists who’ve graced the stage or are on their way there. The second episode brings even more anecdotes from previous years, along with more music picks for this year’s program.
Along the way, Stefan also touches on longtime favorite Trick Savage, Blue Foley — who’s both a festival regular and Stefan’s partner in Nashville Nights — and the story of how his brother Kenneth helped get the very first edition of the festival off the ground.

One small correction: in episode 2, Stefan mentions that his assistant Louise joined starting in the festival’s second year — but she was actually part of the team right from year one.
