CONCERT
Show: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Aliyah Good was born in Nashville, TN, raised on the road and on the stage. She started singing at 3 years of age performing with her parents at fairs and festivals across the US. Her big voice has been described as “a force of nature” by industry veteran Bobby Rymer. Now 19 years old, Aliyah has been writing her own music for 5 years. Her music infuses sounds of pop-country, indie singer/songwriter. “When I started writing and performing my own songs,” says Aliyah, “it just felt so natural. Writing down my feelings and laying it all out there for the world to hear, it’s scary and thrilling at the same time. There’s just something so satisfying about making that connection with other girls going through the same things I am and saying yeah, we’re not alone in all of this and life can be hard”. Good just released her first song to all streaming platforms and her video debuted on CMT. Aliyah was invited to join the esteemed Song Suffragettes at the Listening Room at the age of 15 and plays writer rounds regularly in Nashville at Ole Red, Tin Roof, True Music Room, Belcourt Taps and recently played Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles, the famed Bitter End in NYC, Sofar Sounds in Atlanta, Breaking Miami and numerous other shows. She has been featured in a Feed the Children infomercial, an extra in the movie Country Strong, co-hosted a Mother’s Day special with her Mom Jamie O’Neal for GAC and was in the top 5 music video on CMT for Somebody’s Hero. Life came full circle when she recorded the song as a duet with her Mom in 2020.
“Writing songs to me is like breathing, like therapy…I need it to survive”. Look for Aliyah’s 7 song EP out soon.
