With her latest single “Faithful To Freedom,” Shelly Fairchild returns to her strongest element: alt-country with a bluesy twist. Her music has set the mood for numerous series including Grey’s Anatomy, Riverdale, Station 19, and Love Island, and in 2022, her fifth studio album was released on the legendary label Kill Rock Stars. Originally from Mississippi, she moved to Nashville at age 19—and has since become a trailblazer for the LGBTQIA+ community and a powerful voice on the city’s music scene. Shelly is a regular guest at The Grand Ole Opry, Nashville’s legendary venue, and as a songwriter, she has secured over 100 TV placements and had songs recorded by artists such as Little Big Town and Tanya Tucker. Furthermore, she has toured with major names like Martina McBride, Keith Urban, and Tim McGraw, and she has provided background vocals on recordings for several of Nashville’s absolute top artists.
