Denmark’s answer to Nashville is moving from late summer to spring.

By July 3, 2026No Comments

Starting in 2027, Denmark’s country and Americana festival, Nashville Nights Odense, will move from September to the last weekend in May. However, the 2026 festival will take place as planned on September 10–13.

Late summer in Odense is fantastic, but it’s also packed with events and festivals. That’s why the organizers behind Nashville Nights Odense have decided that, starting in 2027, it’s time to bring a breath of fresh air to the city by moving the festival to the spring.

Going forward, the festival will welcome audiences on the last weekend in May, helping to kick off the Danish festival summer.
Although the calendar month is changing, the heart and soul of the festival remain completely unchanged. Nashville Nights Odense will continue to take place at the same venues, movie theaters, cafés, and more throughout downtown Odense, and will continue to provide festival guests and artists with “The true Nashville experience.”

Country music is currently experiencing a massive resurgence worldwide. But precisely because the genre is growing and reaching a wider audience, the festival’s goal is to hold on to its intimate settings, with room for deep emotions and the stories behind the songs. The focus remains on the genres of country, Americana, blues, folk, and singer-songwriter. Nashville Nights will continue to be the place where you experience music characterized by intimacy and high quality.

“We will continue to be the ones who create the authentic Nashville atmosphere in Denmark,” they say
