Discover Tomorrow’s Favorites at Nashville Nights

There’s something special about discovering an artist before everyone else does. That feeling when you leave a show thinking, “I’m going to be hearing a lot more about this artist.” That’s always been part of what makes Nashville Nights so special.

Alongside award-winning Nashville songwriters and internationally acclaimed artists, this year’s festival also shines a spotlight on some of the most exciting emerging voices from Denmark and across Europe. These are artists who bring their own musical traditions into the worlds of country, Americana and roots music, creating something both authentic and refreshingly original.

From the mountains of Norway to the Faroe Islands, Germany and Denmark, these artists represent different cultures and musical backgrounds. What unites them is honest songwriting, unforgettable performances and stories that stay with you long after the final note.

Arthur Stulien (Norway)

Over the past decade, Arthur Stulien has become one of the standout voices on Norway’s country scene. In 2024, he captured national attention as the first-ever “stolen” contestant to reach the finals of The Voice Norway. Soon after, he opened for country superstar Brad Paisley at Oslo Spektrum.

With his rich, powerful voice, traditional country roots and genuine stage presence, Arthur represents the very best of modern Scandinavian country music.

Beinir (Faroe Islands)

Beinir has quickly become one of the most exciting new artists on the Danish music scene. Drawing inspiration from his Faroese heritage, he combines heartfelt songwriting with an unmistakable voice that creates an instant connection with audiences.

Songs like Greener, Call Me A Dreamer and Romeo have all received national radio airplay, while his innovative Unknown Location Tour invited fans to decide where he should perform—leading to intimate concerts everywhere from hospitals and motorcycle clubs to private homes.

Armed with nothing more than his guitar and a drum pedal, Beinir delivers intimate performances where every lyric and every story takes center stage.

Casper Dybdahl (Denmark)

Casper Dybdahl blends Americana with the unmistakable atmosphere of the Nordic landscape. His songs explore life’s joys, struggles and quiet moments through deeply personal lyrics that invite every listener to find their own meaning.

Together with his band, he creates an emotional live experience filled with warmth, intensity and authenticity. Festival audiences can look forward to songs from his acclaimed catalog as well as brand-new material from his upcoming album.

Digger Barnes (Germany)

For more than twenty years, Germany’s Digger Barnes has been a respected name on the European Americana and roots scene. His music lives somewhere between folk, country and blues, filled with wide-open highways, restless souls and stories about searching for home.

His cinematic songwriting embraces classic American traditions while offering a distinctly European perspective—thoughtful, understated and deeply atmospheric.

Erlend (Norway)

Just a few years ago, Erlend worked as a landscaper in southern Norway. Today, he’s one of Scandinavia’s fastest-rising country artists after winning The Voice Norway.

Known for his remarkably deep baritone voice and commanding vocal range, Erlend draws inspiration from country legends including Keith Whitley, George Jones and Randy Travis. Whether performing stripped-down acoustic ballads or high-energy country anthems, he brings honesty and authenticity to every stage he steps onto.

Juncker (Denmark)

Juncker has long established himself as one of Denmark’s most respected singer-songwriters. With beloved songs like Mogens og Karen and the Gold-certified hit Havana, he has built a loyal following through poetic lyrics, memorable melodies and timeless storytelling.

His ability to capture both life’s heartbreaks and its hope makes him a perfect fit for the Nashville Nights stage, where great songs always come first.

Tora Daa (Norway)

Norwegian guitarist, singer and songwriter Tora Daa has built an international following thanks to her explosive live performances and extraordinary musicianship.

Blending blues, rock, soul and roots music, she delivers electrifying concerts that have earned comparisons to artists like Prince, John Mayer and Michael Jackson. She reminds us that Nashville Nights celebrates not only country music itself, but also the rich musical traditions that surround and inspire it.

A Festival for Musical Discovery

One of the greatest things about Nashville Nights is that you never know who will become your biggest discovery of the weekend. Many guests arrive to see the artists they already know—but leave talking about someone they had never heard before.

This year’s Nordic and European lineup is a perfect example of how country, Americana and roots music continue to thrive far beyond the borders of the United States. These artists honor the traditions while bringing fresh perspectives, new stories and exciting new voices to the stage.

So whether these names are already familiar or completely new to you, don’t be surprised if you leave Nashville Nights with a brand-new favorite artist on your playlist.
